The Nevada Tiger basketball team is scheduled to get back on the road Tuesday night for a non-conference matchup at the Carl Junction Bulldogs.

Nevada is coming off a seventh place finish at the Frontenac Four State Raider Classic after beating Owensville 57-40 in their final game Saturday and are 7-11 for the season.

Carl Junction has a similar mark at 6-11 coming off a 66-57 win over Monett that broke a six game losing streak for the Bulldogs.

It'll be the second meeting of the year between the two teams. Nevada won a thriller 46-44 over Carl Junction at the Mustang Classic at McDonald County in December when the Tigers Drew Beachler stole an inbounds pass and scored with less than two seconds left.

Due to the forecast of winter weather it is now a JV/varsity doubleheader with the junior varsity contest starting at 4:30 p.m. The scheduled "C" team contest has been canceled. Coverage is now scheduled to start at about 5:40 p.m. on 99.9 FM, AM 1240, KNEM, the KNEM-AM audio stream at and with video coverage on
