After back to back overtime games, with one win and one loss, the Nevada Tiger basketball team will see Friday night brings as they continue Big 8 West action on the road.

The Tigers head to Granby to face East Newton and will be looking to spoil Homecoming for the Patriots.

Nevada enters the matchup at 2-11 overall and 0-1 in conference play after an overtime loss to Lamar Tuesday night. The Patriots, who won the Big 8 West title last season, are 5-5 and Nevada will be their league opener.

East Newton has two straight wins over the Tigers including a 74-62 victory last season in Nevada but, like Nevada, suffered heavy graduation losses from last year's team. However, Tiger head coach Shaun Gray says East Newton does have talent at the guard position.
