WAINWRIGHT THROWS SEVEN SCORELESS INNINGS IN WIN OVER CUBS

Adam Wainwright turned back the clock as the St. Louis Cardinals shut out the Cubs 6-0 at Busch Stadium. Wainwright scattered six hits over seven scoreless innings to improve to 8-and-8 on the season. The veteran right-hander says he found a way to get outs without his best stuff.
