JIMENEZ'S FOUR RBI LEAD WHITE SOX TO 9-2 WIN OVER ROYALS

Jose Abreu and Gavin Sheets homered as the White Sox hammered the Kansas City Royals 9-2 Tuesday night in Chicago. Eloy Jimenez went 3-for-3 with a double and drove in four runs. Lucas Giolito gave up just two runs over five innings with seven strikeouts to pick up the win.
Salvador Perez and Hunter Dozier each drove in a run for the Royals. Brad Keller allowed 13 hits and eight runs to take the loss for Kansas City.
Nicky Lopez, who was one for three at the plate with a walk, says they didn't take advantage of early opportunities.
