NEVADA TIGERS HAND OUT END OF SEASON BASEBALL AWARDS

The Nevada Tiger baseball team put a wrap on their recently completed season with a banquet and end of season recognition that included several awards.

After being named the Big 8 South Player of the Year, Case Sanderson was named this season's Most Valuable Player for the Tigers.

Head coach Danny Penn handed out several other year end honors including Offensive Player of the Year to Cade Beshore and Defensive Player of the Year to Eli Cheaney.

The Rookie of the Year was Caden Klumpp, Drake Ketterman was named Most Improved Player while Barrett Nadurata and Graham Walker each were named Freshman of the Year. Kellan Ast was named the Tiger Award winner.

Nevada finished the season at 17-7 advancing to the Class 4 District 12 championship game.
