The Nevada Griffons are planning to return to play Wednesday following weekend forfeits.

The Griffons announced Saturday morning that due to roster issues they would be forfeiting all four games scheduled in Iowa, with doubleheaders against the Carroll Merchants and Des Moines Peak Prospects cancelled.

Since the start of the season, the Griffons have been undermanned, playing with approximately 14 to 15 players on the roster. Nevada made the decision at the time to use the time to rest their players and try to bolster the roster. The Griffons come off scheduled off days Monday and Tuesday as well.

The Griffons, at 4-13 after the forfeits, will look to return to action Wednesday night at Lyons Stadium, as they host the Sedalia Bombers. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., with radio pregame coverage at 6:45 on 99.9 FM, AM 1240 KNEM, and the KNEM-AM audio stream at
