GORMAN HOMERS TWICE AS CARDS PULL EVEN IN NL CENTRAL

Nolan Gorman hit two home runs to lift the Cardinals past the Brewers 6-2 in Milwaukee. Zack Thompson earned the win in relief for St. Louis. The Cardinals are Brewers now sit tied for first with identical 39-31 records. Willy Adames homered for the Brewers. Chi Chi Gonzalez allowed three runs over four innings to take the loss for Milwaukee.

Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol says Nolan Gorman is always ready to go.
