ROYALS GET CONTRIBUTIONS ALL AROUND IN WIN OVER ANAHEIM

The Royals picked up a big win over Noah Syndergaard and the Angels in Anaheim. Nicky Lopez hit a go-ahead RBI-double in the seventh inning and KC tacked on two homers in the eighth for a 6-2 victory. Salvador Perez and Hunter Dozier both went deep in the eighth for the Royals, who have won four-of-five on the heels of a four-game skid. Kris Bubic tossed six innings of one-run ball for his first win as he moved to 1-4. Andrew Benintendi hit a two-run homer on the fourth pitch of the game from Noah Syndergaard fell to 4-6 with the loss.

Royals starting pitcher Kris Bubic says everyone contributed to the team win.

Royals fans will need to stay up late again tonight. First pitch Tuesday night is set for 8:38 p.m. central time as Kansas City will look to take game two of three at Anaheim.
