The Nevada Tigers pounded out twelve hits and had some solid defense leading to a 6-2 win over the Fort Scott Tigers in the regular season baseball finale Friday at Lyons Stadium.

Case Sanderson, Logan Marquardt and Asa Wilson had two hits each to lead the offensive attack. Head coach Danny Penn says they did a good job of stringing together hits.

Nevada finished the regular season at 16-6 and will now get ready for the Class 4 District 12 Tournament at Harrisonville. The third seeded Tigers have a tough assignment in second seeded Pleasant Hill. The Roosters are 21-1 and ranked number three in Class 4 baseball. Penn says they'll show up ready to play.
