It was already a foregone conclusion, but now it's official. The Nevada Tigers will be third seed in the upcoming Class 4 District 12 Baseball Tournament at Harrisonville.

The coaches in the five team district gathered Thursday night to determine the seeding order for the tournament that begins on Monday.

The Clinton Cardinals (8-16) came in at number four and the host Harrisonville Wildcats (4-15) rounded out the field as the fifth seed.

Clinton and Harrisonville will play Monday to determine who will face top seeded Summit Christian on Tuesday while the other Tuesday semifinal will pit Nevada against Pleasant Hill. The official bracket has yet to be posted, but Tiger head coach Danny Penn says he expects to play at about 6:00 or 6:30 p.m. Tuesday night at Harrisonville.
