MPC SETS INTERVENTION DEADLINE IN EVERGY MISSOURI WEST RATE CASE

A deadline has been set for electric customers of Evergy Missouri West to intervene and participate in an electric rate case.

Friday, January 7, Evergy Missouri West filed an electric rate case with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking a net increase in its electric base rates of approximately $27.7 million, an increase of 3.85 percent.

Appplications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than February 11, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission.

Evergy Missouri West provides electric service to about 347,000 customers in 31 western Missouri counties including Vernon, Barton, Bates, Cedar, Dade and St. Clair Counties.
