KANSAS MAN IN BOURBON COUNTY JAIL AFTER KHP ARREST

A Kansas man is in Bourbon County Jail following an arrest by the Kansas Highway Patrol Sunday afternoon.

According to the Bourbon County Sheriff's Office arrest report, 50 year old Michael Westendorff of Mound City was stopped by the Kansas Highway Patrol just before 12:30 p.m. Sunday. He has been charged with possession of stolen property valued at between $25,000 and $100,000; fleeing or attempting to allude; driving while intoxicated; reckless driving; and driving while a habitual violator.

Westendorff is being held in Bourbon County Jail without bond.
