BACK-TO-SCHOOL SALES TAX HOLIDAY BEGINS FRIDAY

Date: August 4, 2022, 7:34 pm

It's a good weekend for back-to-school shopping in Nevada.

This weekend is the back-to-school sales tax holiday in Nevada. State, County, and City portions of the sales tax will not be applied to certain items used by students. Every year the State requires the City to give notice whether they will participate or not, and Nevada will again oblige, says City Manager Mark Mitchell.
