BATTLE OF ISLAND MOUND STATE HISTORIC SITE WILDFLOWER WALK TO BE HELD TODAY

Team members at the Battle of Island Mound State Historic site will host a hike on the 0.6-mile Courage Trail at 6:30 p.m. today.Park representatives will discuss wildflowers that would have existed in the area in the 1800s and that are still part of the landscape today.
Participants should meet at the Courage Trail and are encouraged to wear sturdy shoes and insect repellant.
