Area clerk and election offices are looking for help with upcoming elections.

The Linn County, Kansas Clerk & Election Office is in need of election workers for the upcoming primary and general elections. The primary election takes place on August 2nd of this year, with the general election on November 8th. Those interested may contact Morgan Northcutt or David Lamb at the Linn County Clerk & Election Office at 913-795-2668. Pay is $8.25 an hour plus mileage, & dinner will be provided by Linn County Election Night.

In Missouri, the Vernon County Clerk's Office is also looking for workers for the August 2nd election. You can contact the Vernon County Clerk's Office at 417-448-2500.

Tuesday was the first day for Missourians to vote absentee if they will be out of town on August 2nd, are incapacitated or confined due to illness or physical disability, incarcerated, for religious exemptions, or if they're working at the polls.
