Obituaries

Lyndon Gregg Rice, McQueeney, Texas and formerly Nevada, passed away Friday, December 6. The 1979 graduate of Nevada High School and retired 3M employee was 58. A memorial service is scheduled at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 19, at Ferry Funeral Home with a committal to follow in Newton Burial Park. Visitation is planned between ten and eleven o'clock Thursday morning, December 19, at the funeral home. Memorials for Pancreatic Cancer Research are suggested and can be made in care of Ferry Funeral Home.

Mary Eileen Regers, Hume, passed away Monday, December 2, at the Olathe, Ks. Medical Center at the age of 80. Arrangements are under direction of the Schneider Funeral Home, Pleasanton, Ks., and services are scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 7, at the Hume Christian Church with burial to follow in the Hume Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled between five and seven o'clock Friday evening, December 6, at the Hume Christian Church. Memorials to the Hume School are suggested.

Donald Dean Foley, Sheldon, passed away Wednesday, December 4, at the age of 87. Services are scheduled at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 7, at the Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home, El Dorado Springs, with the Reverend Brent Bland officiating. Burial is planned in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery and memorials to the American Lung Association are suggested.

Marilyn Sue (Norris) Yocum, Higginsville, Mo., passed away Monday, December 2, at her home. The Nevada native and member of PEO Chapter EK was 84. Arrangements are under direction of the Hoefer Funeral Home, Higginsville, Mo., and services are scheduled at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, December 8, at the Grace United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the Higginsville City Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled between six and eight o'clock Saturday evening, December 7, at the Hoefer Funeral Home. Memorials to the United Methodist Committee on Relief are suggested.

Betty Jane Butler passed away Wednesday, December 4, at Cox-Barton County Hospital, Lamar. The 1949 graduate of Lamar High School was 88. Services are scheduled at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 14, at the Konantz-Warden Funeral Home in Lamar. Visitation is planned between noon and one o'clock Saturday afternoon, December 14, at the funeral home. Memorials to Advocates for Victims of Domestic Violence are suggested and can be made in care of Konantz-Warden Funeral Home.

Donna Gail (Elvy) Crutcher passed away Wednesday, December 4, at Lamar. The former Bell Telephone operator was 80. Arrangements are under direction of Konantz-Warden Funeral Home, Lamar, and a graveside service is scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 9, in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Dade County with Larry Wheeler officiating. Memorials to the Pleasant Grove Cemetery Association are suggested. and can be made in care of the Konantz-Warden Funeral Home.
