THE NEVADA HOUSING AUTHORITY, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE OSAGE PRAIRIE YMCA, IS PROVIDING GRAB 'N GO MEALS TO THOSE 18 AND UNDER LIVING AT FAIRGROUND AND CHAPMAN ESTATES FROM 11:00 AM TO 12:00 NOON.  THE SERVICE IS BEING PROVIDED FOR THOSE THAT ARE NOT ABLE TO ACCESS OTHER PROGRAMS FOR MEALS DUE TO TRANSPORTATION ISSUES.

THE VERNON COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE IS WORKING WITH WOODS SUPERMARKET IN NEVADA ON THEIR SENIOR EXPRESS DELIVERY TO PROVIDE GROCERY DELIVERY TO SENIOR CITIZENS 60 AND OLDER FROM 12:00 PM. TO 4:00 P.M. IN REPSONSE TO RECENT RECOMMENDATIONS FORM MEDICARE AND MEDICAID DUE TO CORNAVIRUS, THE MOORE FEW CARE CENTER HAS ANNOUNCED VISITOR RESTRICTIONS.  MOORE-FEW SAYS THE COMMUNITY ROOM IN THEIR FACILITY WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.  THE RESTRICTION IS IN PLACE TO PROTECT THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF THE PATIENTS THEY PROVIDE CARE FOR AND THEY APPRECIATE YOUR UNDERSTANDING.

THE VERNON COUNTY COURTHOUSE HAS REOPENED TO THE PUBLIC ON REDUCED HOURS.   THROUGH THE END OF MAY, THE COURTHOUSE WILL BE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC THREE HOURS A DAY FROM 9:00 A.M. TO 12:00 NOON.  HOWEVER, THE COURTHOUSE WILL BE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC ALL DAY ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY, MAY 14TH & 15, FRIDAY, MAY 22ND AND MONDAY, MAY 25TH (MEMORIAL DAY).  THE VERNON COUNTY COURTHOUSE IS PLANNING TO RESUME NORMAL HOURS ON MONDAY, JUNE 1ST.

THE NEVADA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER FOUNDATION 17TH ANNUAL CARING WITH PRIDE GOLF CLASS IC HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL FRIDAY, JUNE 26TH DUE TO HEAVY AMOUNTS OF RAIN ON THE FRANK E.
