Obituaries.

Lucybelle Williams, Tahlequah, Oklahoma and formerly Nevada, passed away Friday, October 19, in Kansas City, Mo. at the age of 95. Services are scheduled at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 22, at Ferry Funeral Home with the Reverend Hubert Fox officiating. Burial is planned in Newton Burial Park. The family receives friends between ten and eleven o'clock Monday morning, October 22, at Ferry Funeral Home.

Dixie Rose Frazier, Butler, passed away Thursday, October 18, at the age of 75. Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 23, at the Heuser Funeral Home in Rich Hill with burial to follow in the Green Lawn Cemetery, Rich Hill. Visitation is scheduled between nine and ten o'clock Tuesday morning, October 23, at Heuser Funeral Home.

J.H. Phipps, Lamar, passed away Friday, October 19. The 1959 graduate of Lamar High School was 77. Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 22, at the Konantz Warden Funeral Home in Lamar with burial to follow in the Sheldon Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled between four and six o'clock Sunday evening, October 21, at the funeral home.

Dorothy Ellen Hardie, El Dorado Springs, passed away Monday, October 15, at the age of 95. Services are scheduled at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 20, at the Lewis-Hoagland Funeral Home, Schell City, with Pastor Terry Mosher officiating. Burial is planned in Schell City's Green Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Friday, October 19, at the Lewis-Hoagland Funeral Home.

Mildred Irene Shelton, Fort Scott, passed away Thursday, October 18. The 1945 graduate of Stotesbury, Mo. High School was 91. Arrangements are under direction of the Cheney-Witt Chapel, Fort Scott, and a graveside service is scheduled at 1:30 p.m. Monday, October 22, in the National Cemetery at Fort Scott. The family receives friends at 12:30 p.m. Monday, October 22, at the Cheney-Witt Chapel and memorials to the activity fund at Guest House Estates in Fort Scott are suggested.

Clarice Arlene "Punkie" Robinson, Butler, passed away Thursday, October 18, at the Butler Center. The Rockville native was 77.Services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 22, at the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel, Butler with Pastor Ron Dunlap officiating and burial to follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled between one and two o'clock Monday afternoon, October 22, at the funeral home and memorials to the Happy Hill Church of God are suggested.

Dora Jean McKinley, of rural Richards, passed away Sunday, October 14, at Nevada Nursing and Rehab. The Metz High School graduate and Horton Post Office employee was 74. Arrangements are under direction of Ferry Funeral Home and no services are planned at this time.

Bill Rex Peacock passed away Thursday, October 18, at St. Luke's Nursing Center in Carthage. The 1953 graduate of Lamar High School was 83. Services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 21, at the First Christian Church in Lamar. Visitation is planned between six and eight o'clock Saturday evening at Konantz-Warden Funeral Home, Lamar.

Patsy Jane (Manley) Smith passed away Wednesday, October 17, at the age of 85. Burial is planned in the Wagoner Cemetery at Stockton with arrangements under direction of the Konantz-Warden Funeral Home, Lamar, and service times to be announced later.

Robert F. Triplett, Jr. passed away Tuesday, October 9. The 1965 graduate of Nevada High School was 71. Arrangements were under direction of the Meyers Funeral Chapel, Blue Springs, Mo., and a celebration of his life is to be scheduled later at the Steele Creek Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. Memorials either to Saint Luke's Hospice House or the Steele Creek Church are suggested.

Frank Denham Sumpter, Nevada and formerly San Antonio, Texas, passed away Monday, October 8, at the age of 70. Arrangements are under direction of Ferry Funeral Home and a private service is to be scheduled later.

Ronald Walter Rice, of Powderly, Texas, passed away Tuesday, October 2, at the Paris, Texas Regional Medical Center. The 1984 graduate of Nevada High School and retired Air Force master sergeant was 52. A graveside service is scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 26, in the Sheldon Cemetery. Memorials to the Wounded Warriors are suggested and can be made in care of Ferry Funeral Home.
