Mary "Joyce" Adams, Nevada, passed away Monday, February 8, at Barone Care Center. The retired Nevada Housing Authority executive director was 77. Arrangements are under direction of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, and a graveside service is scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, in the Moore Cemetery with the Reverend Bill Platt officiating. Memorials to Hospice Compassus are suggested.

Patricia Jeanett Hageman, Metz, passed away Saturday, February 6, at the age of 68. Arrangements are under direction of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, and a memorial service is scheduled at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 10, at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Nevada. Visitation's scheduled between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 9, at Ferry Funeral Home. Memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church are suggested.

Wayne E. Vacca, Liberal, Mo., passed away Monday, February 8, at Nevada Regional Medical Center. He was 88. Arrangements are under direction of the Konantz Warden Funeral Home, Lamar, Mo., and services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 12, at the funeral home. The family receives friends between six and eight o'clock Thursday evening, February 11, at Konantz Warden funeral home.

Edna Mae (Eslinger) Shutters, Independence, Mo. and formerly of the Walker-Nevada area, passed away Thursday, February 4, at the Groves in Independence. Arrangements are under direction of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, and a graveside service is scheduled at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 9, in Newton Burial Park, Nevada, Mo. Memorials to The Grove Hospice are suggested.

Charles Maurice "Pepper" Martin, Bronaugh, passed away Wednesday, February 3, at his home. He was 95. Arrangements are under direction of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, and a Celebration of Life service is scheduled at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 20, at the Rinehart Christian Church. A private burial is to be planned later in the Worsley Cemetery, Bronaugh. Memorials to the Worsley Cemetery are suggested.

Evelyn Eunice (Harris) Burklow, Springfield, Mo. and formerly El Dorado Springs, passed away Tuesday, February 2, at the age of 79. Arrangements are under direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home, El Dorado Springs.

William R. "Bill" Dunn, Fort Scott, passed away Thursday, February 4, at the age of 81. Arrangements are under direction of Cheney-Witt Chapel, Fort Scott, and services are scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 9, at the funeral home with pastor Tim O'Neal officiating. Burial will follow in the Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family receives friends between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 8, at the funeral home. Memorials to the VFW are suggested.

Johnny Ramsey, Fort Scott, passed away Tuesday, February 2, at his home. He was 85. Arrangements are under direction of the Midland Cremation Society in Joplin and services are to be scheduled later in the National Cemetery in Fort Scott.

Earl Dean Smith, 75, passed away Sunday, January 31, at Clinton, Mo. He was born May 18, 1940 at Nevada, Missouri and his parents were Earl and Vena Smith. Arrangements are under direction of Hill and Son Funeral Home in Appleton City.
